sharing understanding of baby & toddler development
Each of us at 'Bump to 3' are parents too. We truly understand (& can totally empathise with!) all the highs and the lows of parenting.
We believe in giving people time to tell their story, and in supporting them to find their own solutions.
We also believe that:
'Bump to 3' works alongside a number of trusted local & appropriately qualified ‘Linked-Practitioners’.
Each Bump to 3 'Linked Practitioner' has had an Enhanced DBS check & is regulated with their professional regulatory body- for your peace of mind.
Each of our 'Bump to3' Linked Practitioners is qualified to help with specific issues relating to child development and family wellbeing, or is able to offer a wider range of individual, specialist support. We all are able to link you directly to core NHS services too, if that's what is needed and if that's what you ask us to do.
Your ‘Bump to 3’ local Linked Practitioners are (in A to Z order by Last Name!):
Amie Monique Watt: (NB/ currently on an extended break from summer 2018) HV & Pregnancy Massage Therapist NMC Registered (NHS & Independent)
Associate Practitoner: Jenny Joseph – Reflexologist & former registered nurse /health visitor (Independent Practitioner) NMC Registered to March 2016

Bump to 3 is licenced by the NHS 'Solihull Approach' team, ensuring that 'Bump to 3' services are in-line with nationally-endorsed services, as well as being convenvenient; brought to you at a time & location to suit you.
Through ‘Bump to 3' we also work alongside our local sister charity ‘Linked-Up’, providing practical support to new mothers who have faced health challenges around the time of their baby’s birth, & who are living in the Leamington, Warwick & Kenilworth areas (soon to cover Stratford too!). The 'Linked-Up' team of volunteer mothers currently collects donated nursing-friendly clothing for the pop-up ‘Boost-Boutique’ as well as tiny / early baby clothing for the mobile ‘Teeny-Togs’ store. The ‘Linked-Up’ team is always happy to welcome new volunteers & supporters! So please feel free to visit Facebook.com/Linked-Up to message the team or text ‘Linked-Up’ on 07745 259721 if you feel you’d be able to help.
As an organisation 'Bump to Three C.I.C.' is committed to providing inclusive, confidential & unbiased services, and to upholding our heartfelt Code of Ethics.
Hi I'm Clair, Founder & Co-Director of 'Bump to Three (& Beyond!) C.I.C., which I set up in January 2012 in order to add a further layer of community-based 'village' support for new parents. Having enjoyed many years working alongside new mothers, dads & babies, both in the NHS & within a local children's centre service, I've still got very clear memories of the highs & lows of parenthood with my own babies, toddlers & beyond!!
As well as on-going NHS-based work (currently with the Cov&Warks Perinatal Team), I've also been an independent practitioner for over 15 years, sharing understanding of baby massage to new mums & dads via small group courses or 1-to-1s, in private or in NHS venues. I trained with the International Association of Infant Massage to share the gift of Baby Massage new parents (endorsed by the NHS) & I'm also a qualified nurse & health visitor.
In addition to running round with my own children (now in their early 20s), I'm an ABM voluntary 'Mother-Supporter', the current Chairperson of 'Linked-Up', a small local charity, & I'm actively involved on a voluntary basis in the 'South Warwickshire Maternity Partnership' in reviewing & supporting local maternity sevices. I'm also a member of the well-respected 'Warwickshire Pregnancy and Birth Network' of local trusted independent practitioners, and hold Enhanced DBS Clearance for your peace of mind.
Along with regular professional development updates (on bump, birth, baby, toddler & family wellbeing), I have accessed additional specialist training in:
'Obstetrics Nursing Certificate' (3 months full-time maternity nursing in the NHS), the NHS 'Solihull Approach' (Antenatal, Postnatal, Postnatal Plus & Breastfeeding Support), the 'Watch, Wait & Wonder' parent-child relationship support programme, IAIM Infant Massage Instructor Certificate plus 'Infant Massage for Preterm Babies' (IAIM), 'Neonatal Behavioural Observation' Certification (Registered NBO Practitioner with the Brazelton Centre UK) & I have also gained the 'Postgraduate Award in Infant & Family Wellbeing' from Warwick Medical School.
In my 'spare' time, I'm practising my knitting (scarf patterns only!) and trying to persuade my OH to agree to us getting a wee dog...sadly no joy as yet, but I'm still working on it!
Helen, Co-Director of Bump to 3, is an experienced & trusted Clinical Psychologist who worked in a local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Teams for 13 years. She left the NHS in 2012 to focus on her passion – helping parents support the healthy development of their babies, toddlers and young children through her local & accessible service.
After graduating in psychology from Lancaster University, Helen worked for two years at Bristol University on a research project focussed on the development of babies born prematurely. She then did her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Manchester University and has been living in Warwickshire since 1999.
Helen is an expert in understanding what young babies need to increase the chances that they will grow up to be happy and successful children and adults. Being a mother of three she understands the challenges of being a new parent and likes to empower mums and dad with the latest scientific findings about infant and toddler development - and how to apply that to the real world! If parents have any niggling concerns about their child's development or behaviour it makes sense to chat this through with Helen as it's well known that 'early intervention' can help in the prevention of later difficulties.
As well as her running her clinic ‘Family Matters in Warwickshire’, Helen does voluntary work for, and is the Chair of, the Strategic Advisory Group for the Leamington Children’s Centres and was recently a volunteer Director and Chair at a local village day nursery.
